MEANING.

A fable (folk-lore) with short refrains sung at intervals in the narrative. These fables are narrated round the fire in the evening.

Example of use.

Kali kashimi kapela, or kashimi pita ku ntambalilo, ku mitwe nasakako imyunga, MEANING: There my little tale ends, or, little tale, you pass at the foot of the bed, for I have placed thorns at the head (i.e. do not give us bad dreams).
