1.     Tamwakaleenga mucele,MEANING: You will not (in thedistant continuous future) make salt.

 

The final vowel of …akale…does not contract: Tamwakaleenga umucele,but the initial vowel contracts and becomes long: taakalelya inama (for taakalelya),he will not eat any more meat.

Note: the contractionbetween the last vowel of a verb in the negative form and the first vowel ofthe following word is never made.
