Literal translation

A good dwelling place intoxicates i.e. goes to one’s head.

Meaning

When one is in a good position he or she may get excited with what is he or she is enjoying forgetting that the same things can lead him or her into problems if care is not taken.

Bemba meaning

Umuntu nga amone cifulo cisuma, alaba nokuisunga, atendeka misango yakuti ikamonawile. Ukwikala bwino limbi kuleta ukutumpa no kuilekelesha.
