MEANING.

An arrangement or rule drawn up during the burial of a deceased person, and agreed upon by all, designating in the ritual hunt the special significance given to the game that will be killed (buck or doe), to mark out the real culprit in that person’s demise. Fortunately, this is no longer practiced.

Example of use.

Pela (umina) umuntu intembo, MEANING:  To tell the person suspected of having caused the death, the understanding regarding the ritual hunt.
