Characteristic of the negative distant future, placed between the subject and the root of the verb: the final vowel of the verb becomes e.

Example of use

Nshakayeko MEANING I shall not go there.

The initial vowel of …aka… contracts and becomes long: taakaye. The last vowel of …aka… contracts with e i o u.

Example of use

1.     Tamwakeele (for tamwakaele) sabi, MEANING: You will not catch fish.

2.     Tamwakeepaye (for tamwakaipaye) nama, MEANING: You will not kill animals.

3.     Tatwakoomane (for tatwakaumane), MEANING: We will not quarrel with each other.
