The infinitive following –isa either drops its characteristics ‘ku’ or doubles it:

Example of use.

Aisa ku kubomba imilimo BECOMES Aisa bomba imilimo, , MEANING: He came to work.

The i of isa in the imperative singular drops when followed by a verb in the subjunctive mood.

Example of use.

Isa ungafwe BECOMES So ngafwe MEANING: Come and help me.
