‘Sekeseke twakupandila ni we mwine ukayonena,' MEANING: little mouse, we have given you brains; if anything goes wrong, it will be your own fault. This is said in the initiation (cisungu) ceremony, when a little mouse is brought to the nacimbusa and eaten. The saying refers to the young girl who is being initiated, warning her that if anything goes wrong after that it will not be due to lack of advice given her.
